New Mexico is a sparse area with good climate, cool desert nights and warm days.  It has a sparse population also.  The southern desert region is a great place to capture solar energy. Las Cruces, New Mexico is in this region, with regular public transportation 

Local architecture is characterized into three styles Pueblo, Territorial Style, and High Mountain Pitched Roof Style…..
